The shared shuttle picks up multiple passengers from different Waikīkī hotels on a scheduled run and is the most affordable option for solo travelers or couples. A private transfer provides a dedicated vehicle exclusively for your party, with flexible timing and more luggage space. For groups of 3 or more, private transfers often work out to a similar cost per person as the shared shuttle.

What is the cancellation policy for Island Express Shuttle?

Island Express Shuttle offers a full refund for reservations cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. This applies to both online and phone reservations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund. For cancellations made outside the 24-hour window, a credit may be applied toward a rescheduled shuttle ride.

What happens if my flight is delayed or arrives early?

Island Express Shuttle tracks all incoming flights. If your flight is delayed, we will rebook you on the next available shuttle. If no seats are available, you will receive a credit for a future ride. If your flight arrives earlier than expected, we will rebook you on an earlier shuttle if seating permits. Please contact our office as soon as possible after receiving notification of a delay or early arrival. When selecting your time slot, allow 40–60 minutes after landing to deplane, collect your luggage, and proceed to your pickup location.

What size are your shuttle vehicles?

Our Ford Transit buses accommodate up to 10 passengers and are equipped with multi-zone air conditioning, tinted windows, high-ceiling cabins, and ample luggage space. Our Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Suburban SUVs comfortably seat 5 adults with room for 6 pieces of luggage. The entire fleet is GPS-tracked for passenger safety.

How do I change my reservation?

You can change your reservation within 48 hours by calling (808) 944-1879 or by emailing us with your confirmation number. Please have your confirmation code ready when contacting us.

How do I select the correct shuttle availability for my arrival?

For arriving shared and private reservations, we will adjust your scheduled pickup time to the most suitable available time based on your actual arrival. For example, if you land at 12:40 PM and book a 1:00 PM shuttle, we will likely reschedule you to the 2:00 PM shuttle to allow sufficient time to collect your baggage and reach your pickup location. Please allow 40–60 minutes after landing to deplane, collect luggage, and walk to your pickup point.

What is the pet and service animal policy?

Pets are not permitted on shared-ride shuttles. Crated pets may be transported on private services provided they are in a secure, well-ventilated carrier that fits safely in the vehicle. Additional cleaning fees may apply. Service animals as defined under the ADA are always welcome on both shared and private services, provided they can be safely accommodated without blocking aisles or exits.
